Answer:

Peter takes 85 5/7 days alone.

Explanation:

We can find this by using the LCM method.

Paul alone takes = 120 days

Paul and Peter together takes= 50 days

Now taking the LCM of 120 and 50, we get 600.

So, efficiency( amount of work done in 1 day) of Paul alone = 600/120 = 5

The efficiency of Paul and Peter together = 600/50 = 12

So, the efficiency of only Peter= 12-5 = 7

Therefore, Peter alone takes= 600/7 = 85 5/7 days.
