Given :Paul is helping his dad tow their van of 2 001 kg a distance of 10800 cm going at 4.01 m/s².

To Find : how much work they are doing.

Solution:

Work done = Force * displacement

Force = mass * acceleration

W = Work Done

Force = F

mass = m  = 2001  kg

acceleration  a = 4.01 m/s²

displacement ds  = 10800 cm = 108 m

F = 2001 * 4.01

W = F . ds

W = 2001 * 4.01  * 108

=> W = 8,66,593.08 J

≈ 866.59 kJ

work done ≈ 866.59 kJ
