paul is twenty first from the left end and sam is fifteenth from the right end.peter is thirty first from the leftend of the row.john is sixth to the left of peter .how many people are there in the queue if sam is adjacent to john and third to the right of paul?

Solution :-

→ Position of Paul from left end = 21

→ Position of Sam from right end = 15

also, in last line it is given that, Sam is third to the right of Paul .

then,

→ Position of Sam from left end = 21 + 3 = 24

therefore,

→ Total people in the queue = Position of Sam from right end + Position of Sam from left end - 1

→ Total people in the queue = 15 + 24 - 1

→ Total people in the queue = 39 - 1

→ Total people in the queue = 38 (Ans.)
