Let Payal's age be x+5
A/Q 4x+4 = 3(x+5)-3
4x+4 = 3x+15-3
4x+4 = 3x+12
x = 12-4
x = 8
Proma's age = x = 8 years
Payal's age = x+5 = 8+5 = 13 years

4 step is 4x+4=3x+12
but in 5 step how can we get x=12-4
I brought 3x to the left side of = sign
Bringing it to the other side of = changed its sign so it became -3x
4x-3x = x
