Answer:

750 m/s

Step-by-step explanation:

If 60N force is applied for 5 min, it means acceleration by this force is applied on the body.

Using, F = ma   ⇒ 60 = 24a

                         ⇒ 5/2 = a

Hence, using,  a = (v - u)/t

     ⇒ 5/2 = (v - u)/5min

     ⇒ 5/2 = (Δv)/(300s)

     ⇒ (5/2)(300) = Δv

     ⇒ 750m/s = Δv

Given :-

A body having a mass of 24kg. Force is 60 N

To Find :-

What will be change in velocity

Solution :-

We know that

a = F/m

Where

F = force

m = mass

a = acceleration

a = 60/24

a = 5/2

a = 2.5 m/s²

Now

1 min = 60 sec

5 min = 5 × 60 = 300 sec

v = u + at

v = 0 + 2.5(300)

v = 0 + 750

v = 750 m/s
