PCl3 is trigonal pyramidal with a lone pair of electron on Phosphorous. PCl5 is trigonal bipyramidal with no lone pair of electrons. However PCl5 has 2 axial bonds and 3 equatorial bonds, The axial bonds are longer and weaker than the equatorial bonds as they suffer more b.p - b.p repulsions than equatorial bonds.
