Let me enlighten you by a short story which every person might have read it somewhere or the other.

There was a guy who was alone tired and was really exhausted. There was a tree who said to the guy to rest under its leaves and have shelter and relief himself.
then the guy said that he was hungry and needed food. The tree replied that he could have his fruits and satisfy his hunger.
Then the guy said that he needed a place to live in. The tree replied that he could cut its branches and make a house out of it. Thus the tree vanished helping the guy.
Moral of the story - ped humare sachhe mitra.
