Pedagogy of environmental science:

The main theme a child learns in environmental science is 'water'. Some of the things to be learned about water are source and properties of water, cultural significance  of water, wastage and conservation of water, availability and storage of water and access and  unequal  distribution  of water.

The strategy used to learn a theme is projects, discussions, experiments and explorations, surveys and interviews, sharing experiences, role play and field visits.

These strategies will increase the knowledge of a student to a greater measure. The students will not be burdened to memorize the facts but they remember it through the experience.
