Peer pressure is something that can force the children into doing things that they actually didn't want to do in the first place. Peer pressure plays an important role in the life of the children, especially when they are insecure and want to please everyone around them. Especially in high school, the social ladder that has been created builds a desire in the children to come to the top of it which can only be done if all the others are pleased by them. the children might, therefore, do things that are considered "cool" by their friends to be identified as a member of the "cool gang". peer pressure can make children do things that they would regret in the morning when the hangover of pleasing the other while disregarding the judgments of the conscience wears off. The children often give into peer pressure and end up doing certain inappreciable things against their better judgment. However, peer pressure is something which can be positive or negative, depending upon the type of friends one has. The friends who want the other mate to grow and become happy and self satisfied will pressurize their friend to chase their dreams and follow their heart in the times of difficult situations. Thus, peer pressure isn't always negative. However, it is my advice to every person out there to trust their brain and conscience rather than what the others say. For even if you end up in some undesirable situations because of your choices, atleast you will be happy that you chose the path you actually wanted. if ,however, you take decisions according to what your friends and other individuals around you suggest, you might not be actually ever happy about the decisions you made for yourself and the life you created.
