“The pen is mightier than the sword” implies that a pen is extremely powerful. Even though it is small in size, it has the power to accomplish things that a mighty sharp edged sword cannot...
By way of this proverb, Bulwer-Lytton wanted to state that the power of writing is much greater than the power of war and hatred. A war always ends in sufferings and loss where as writing is a gift to the mankind. The stories learned during our childhood have taught us a lot. Those teachings are a priceless possession for us.
It is actually true that the peaceful act of writing with a small pen can have a bigger impact than the act of violence carried out by a sword.
The power of pen and words has been emphasized by way of many other proverbs. Some of these include “Books are the way to the truth” and “Books are the best companion”.
The pen certainly is more powerful than the sword. The tasks that can be completed with a small tip of a pen cannot be accomplished if we use something as mightier as a sword.

Heya!

Pen is mightier than sword.

Well, this is a significant phrase which has been famous all over these centuries. It shows that the pen is more powerful than the sword. Although we all know a sword has a sharp edge as well as it's the power to win a war where definitely a pen can't be used. A sword is known for its bravery and courage since eras but in the other hand a pen is endowed with the ability to change the human world though it's delicate.

This phrase by Edward Bulver Litton was written with a sense of changing the world and great significance. It states that the act of writing can have stronger impact on people than the act of violence. And it's true indeed. Words are more influential than force is. Words have emotions while force leads to sufferings at end.

A war leads to destruction while an author creates a space in others' hearts. A pen is a gift to mankind while a sword is being used to kill humanity. The power of writing is much greater than advancing wars and violence. In order to protect mankind, there mustn't be wars creating distances and establishing hatred.

This proverb encourages the power of pen and writing and indicates that writers are powerful than warriors. It emphasizes that we must not undervalue the power of a small thing such as a pen. A thing as small a pen can have a greater impact on the society which a mighty weapon like a sharp sword can't gain.

Hope it helps!!
