" Pen is mightier than sword".Elucidate with reference to the poem "Not Marble Nor the Gilded Monuments" ? I want better answer so plz think and answer correctly

pen is mightier than sword it is a perfect statement ....it is based on the idea that the wars will destroy the work masonry ,that is, monuments and statues but the no one can destroy the writers verse (poem)..also the monuments will be destroyed by the ravages of time but the poet's verse shall outlive till the posterity

yes the time is mighter than sword with the to the poem not marble nor the gilded monuments the poet want to explain that the many powerful kings erect their monument on their memory and want to be remember till posterity but the time vanishes all the monuments and statues . On the other hand the peot's poetry can never be finished or can never be vanished with time .In this the poet compare the statues with his poem which he written for his friend and found that his poetry is more powerful than that of the statues and monuments .so this shows that pen is mighter than sword . which cannot be vanishes by time or war and remember till posterity or last judgement day .
