He begins his journey with Dr. Kemp from a local college of London and aspires to become a good teacher but soon he has to abdicate his subject teaching in pursuit of inveting the formula of Invisibility. He is stimulated by Professor Oliver who later forsakes his company over credit-taking issue. Griffin sets up his own lab in a small rented room at The Great Portland Street whence he succeeds in making the formula. With in first few days with his invisibilty. He realises that he has taken a massive risk which is full of loopholes and shortcomings. He tries his level best until he has a row with his landlord who wants to evict him as soon as possible. He runs from there, steals clothes from Drury Lane (Bandages, Pink nose, goggles and many more). He escapes from Dr. Kemp’s house before he is invaded by Colonel Adye. In the end, in his pursuit of killing Dr. Kemp, he is killed by masons who suffocate him till he dies. This ends the tyranny of a man who could not become visible till the end.
