Albert Dussel is a dentist and an acquaintance of the Franks Who hides with them in the Annexe. Anne, at first is very happy at the joining of a new member but later. Mr dussel particularly different to deal with because he shares a room with her and she suffers a burnt of his own personal hygienic habits he keeps on giving finicky lectures he also has controlling tendencies and keep on arguing with anne he is also rude, stubborn and full of self importance a fact which we learn when he does not allow anne to use his desk for reading he also says that his work is more important and says bitter things to her it shows that he is haughty and narrow minded
