During the British rule in our country, the British government had established different inhuman law to imprison our freedom.

Similarly,in the year of 1860 they established the "Sedition" law which snatched away our freedom of expression against the government.

According to this law any written or spoken hatred towards the British government is criminal offence.

Due to it's inhuman nature the Indian population protested a lot against this act.
