There are many reasons for people becoming more restless in today's times; some of these are as follows:
--It is a competitive world, which is driven by globalization realities. So people want to do better so as to survive and excel. Often, they have a lot of pressure while doing so because there are so many competitors with different resources and competencies. When they find themselves lacking in some aspects, they start scrambling for support, knowledge or power so as to win the race. This makes them restless.
--There are several opportunities in the globalizing world, which people want to avail, which make them search for ways to avail those opportunities. In the process they become restless, as others are competing for the same, which they find to be obstructing their way.
--There is humongous information available through the net, social media and the other sources. They search the relevant information, which necessitates a lot of efforts, making them sometimes restless.
