Heya friend,
a) Cost Price = ₹4,80,000
Selling Price = ₹4,92,000
Profit = Selling Price - Cost Price
= ₹(4,92,000 - 4,80,000)
= ₹12,000
Profit % = Profit/CP × 100
= 12,000/4,80,000 × 100
= 2.5%
b) Cost Price = ₹4,80,000
Selling Price = ₹4,73,400
Loss = Cost Price - Selling Price
= ₹(4,80,000 - 4,73,400)
= ₹6,600
Loss % = Loss/CP × 100
= 6,600/4,80,000 × 100
= 1.37%
Thanks

Cost price = 480000 Rs
Now,
a) when Selling price = 492000 Rs
Then, profit = sp - cp
Thus, profit = 492000 - 480000
Thus, profit = 12,000 Rs
b) when Selling price = 473400 Rs
Then, loss = cp - sp
Thus, loss = 480000 - 473400
Thus, loss = 6,600 Rs
Hope it helps you.
Thank you.
