People feel free and equal in democracy. is this a good argument in favor of democracy? why?

people feel equal because they feel like they are being heard. In a democracy, citizens either directly vote or elect representatives which form a governing body. Even if their vote may not be a crucial part in determining something, they still feel as if their opinion is heard.

Because they only select their their leader and the leaders also do favour for the people, but it is not possible in dictatorship, if the leaders do any mistakes the people can abject him,
