Math, asked by binamra2065, 13 hours ago

People, I am facing very hard problems completing my home works.
Should I start to do my homework from the difficult and long subjects such as maths , long essays etc or should I start from the easier and less work home works? Please tell what you people do

Required answer :

• I would like to suggest you that you can complete the hard ones first as it's hard it may take much time to complete after hard ones are completed you can start the easier ones as it will take less time to complete and you will feel relaxed. ( But if don't agree this the other way is down there )

• You should mix it up. Easy and Hard is relative. Even if you mean quick vs slow, which may be still relative but arguably less so when some of the assignments may require research or writing versus quick answers. Mix it up.

• There are a few reasons for this…..

1) The ‘hard’ slow work will be draining, so mixing in the easier work will give you ‘productive’ breaks.

2) Homework’s purpose is to provide your reinforcement of your learning skills and if you break it up, each time you switch tasks you will need to recall the skills needed for the new task. So it’s literally adding the number of times you recall the skills.

3) There are a few disadvantages, the extra reinforcement means you will take longer to do the work than if you just did all the problems of one type and then switched to a different task. There have been some studies about learning and practice of multiple tasks which if I recall lesson the practice gains, so its not clear how much the extra recalls will help.
