Arunachal pradesh is a state which has high rainfall during monsoon .Sometimes it rains continuously for days or weeks.Due to this there arises floods.the flood water takes and destructs everything in its way due to its strong water charge.In this there is a possibility of the water entering the people's houses.
The houses get flooded if the water enters .This water contains many harmful bacteria.Hence to avoid all this the people over there build houses on stilts
