THE STATEMENT PEOPLE LIVING IN IN INDIA ARE HIGHLY UNEQUAL IS RIGHT BECAUSE IN INDIA , THERE ARE MANY KIND OF RELIGIONS LIKE HINDU,MUSLIM,SIKHISM,JAINISM BUT THAT THING DOES,NT MATTERS . THE THING WHICH MATTERS IS THAT THE PEOPLE FIGHTS WITH THEIR OWN COUNTRY MEMBERS IN A VERY DEADLY WAY AND DESTROYING THE PEOPLE OF THEIR OWN COUNTRY BECAUSE PEOPLE THINK THAT THE PEOPLE OF DIFFERENT RELIGIONS ARE DIFFERENT FROM THEM . BUT THE WHOLE CASE OF RELIGIONS AND OTHER THINGS WAS GIVEN TO INDIANS BY THE BRITISHERS AS THEY BELIEVES IN "DIVIDE AND RULE" AND THEY PROVE THAT .SO THAT IS THE MAIN REASON FOR THE STATEMENT -" PEOPLE'S LIVES IN INDIA ARE HIGHLY UNEQUAL "

➡️The main reasons are that people in india are mainly below poverty line and the reasons are :-

1. High population growth rate is one ofmajor reasons of poverty in India.

2. This further leads to high level of illiteracy, poor health care facilities and lack of access to financial resources.

3.Also, high population growth affects the per capita income and makes per capita income even lower.

4. Associated with the lack of education, high divorce rate, a culture of poverty, onecause is also illiteracy overpopulation

5. Unemployment and under employment is also the main reason.

6.In agriculture, the productivity level is very low due to subdivided and fragmented holdings, lack of capital, use of traditional methods of cultivation etc.

7. Inadequate access to clean water and nutritious food.

8. Little or no access to livelihoods or jobs.

9. Lack of infrastructure.

\huge{How\:To \:Improve:-}

1. Population Control because day by day the population of our country is increasing.

2. Equal distribution of Income: Mere increase in production and control on population growth will not remove poverty in India.

3. Problem of Distribution: The public distribution system (PDS) should be strengthened to remove poverty.

4. Create jobs to make people busy and earn livelihoods.

5. Increase the Earned Income Tax Credit for childless workers.

6.Provide paid leave and paid sick days to workers.

7. Raise the minimum wage of workers.

8. By increasing stress on universal free and essential primary education.

9. By providing sufficient medical facilities even in the rural areas, so that the population growth rate could be minimised.

\huge{Types\:of\:Inequalities:-}

1. Casteism

The caste system is an ancient, age-old belief system that plagues India till today. It is a system that has divides Hindus into rigid, hierarchical occupational groups called “varna“.

2. Untouchability

Due to the above Varna system, one of the most negative, yet unique features of India is the untouchability system.

3. Gender Discrimination

In India, traditionally, females and males were given rigid roles that they had to follow.

4. Class inequality

when people of a high class have excess resources, while the majority live in poverty with no basic food, water, clothes or shelter.

5. Racism

India is a diverse country with people belonging to different places. People have different cultures, food, clothes and also look different but it doesn’t mean they should be discriminated against.

➡️But mate ,we need to know that Equality is a basic human right and every human being on Earth deserves fair treatment and access to opportunities.
