Given, % error in radius = 3%
Now, surface area S = 4πr^2
Since, 4π is constant and dimensionless
∆S/S×100 = ( 2× ∆r/r ) × 100
=> ∆S/S×100 = 2×3
=> ∆S/S×100 = 6%
Hence, % error in measurement of surface area of sphere is 6%
