1) dissolve few crystals of potassium permanganate in 100ml of water

2) take 10ml of this solution and add it to another beaker containing 90ml of clean water continue this process for 5-8 times

observation:-

this experiment shows that just a few crystals of pottasium permanganate can colour a large volume of water (about 1000L)

this activity proves that matter is made up of tiny particles. so we conclude that there must be millions of tiny particles in just one crystal of potassium permanganate , which keeps on dividing themselves into smaller and smaller
