Take a big shining spoon try to observe your face on its convex surface (bulging).

(a) Do you see the image? Is it big or small? Note the distance between your face

and spoon in centimeters.
b) Take the spoon away from your face slowly. Does the image get inverted? if yes, again measure and write the distance between spoon and face in
centimeters. If No, state the reason for that. ​

a) Yes, The image of my face can be seen on the spoon. This is because the spoon has smooth and shiny surface. The image formed on the spoon is . The distance between the spoon and my face is 25cm.

b) No the image didn't get inverted. It is because the inverted image is only formed by concave surface of the spoon. Whereas, convex surface form virtual images.
