1. perimeter of a rectangle: length + length + breadth + breadth

  area of a rectangle: length×breadth

2.perimeter of a square: length + length + length + length

   area of a square: length × length

3. perimeter of a parallelogram: sum of all its sides

  area of a parallelogram: base × height

4. perimeter of a rhombus: sum of all its sides

   area of a rhombus: 1/2 × (product of its diagonals)

5. perimeter of a triangle: sum of all its sides

   area of a triangle: 1/2 × base × height

6. perimeter/ circumference of a circle: 2PI r×r

   area of a circle: PIr×r
