Let the length of flower bed be a
And the width of flower bed be b
Perimeter = 2 ( a + b)
=> 76 = 2 ( a + b)
=> a + b = 38
=> a = 38 - b -------(1)
Now,
Area = 357
=> a × b = 357
=> ( 38 - b) (b) = 357
=> 38b - b^2 = 357
=> b^2 - 38b + 357 = 0
This is the required quadratic equation.

Your answer !!
______________________________
Let length of flower bed be a
and width of flower bed be b
Perimeter = 2 ( a + b )
76 = 2 ( a + b )
38 = a + b
b = 38 - a
Area = a ( b ) = 357
( a ) ( 38 - a ) = 357
38a - a^2 = 357
-a^2 + 38a - 357 = 0
Required equation !!
