Given :

  • Perimeter of parallelogram = 150 cm.
  • And one side of the parallelogram is greater than the other by 25 cm.

To find :

  • The Length of all the sides.

Solution :

Let the one side of the ||gm(BC) be x

Then, other(AB) will be x + 25

According to Question,

⟼ (x) + (x) + (x + 25) + (x + 25) = 150

⟼ 2(x + x + 25) = 150

⟼ 2x + 2x + 50 = 150

⟼ 4x = 150 - 50

⟼ x = 100/4

⟼ x = 25

Therefore,

  • BC(x) = 25 cm
  • AB(x + 25) = 25 + 25 = 50 cm

Also,

•BC = DA = 25cm

•AB = CD = 50 cm

[ Because Opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal.]

Hence,

  • Length of all sides of the parallelogram : 25cm,50cm,25cm,50cm respectively.
