Answer:

PERIMETER OF PARALLELOGRAM = 2(A+B)

LET , FIRST SIDE = A , AND SECOND = B

GIVEN :- .one of the side is 5 times the other side

  SO,  A = 3B

PERIMETER OF PARALLELOGRAM = 2(A+B)

==> 240 = 2(A+B)

==> 240 = 2(3B+B)  [BECAUSE A = 3B]

==> 240/2 = 4B

==> 120 = 4B

==> B = 30

SO, A = 3B ==> 5(30) ===> 150

SO, ANSWER = A = 150 , B = 50
