W.K.T, Peri(ABCD)=2(l+b)

1540=2(390+b)

1540/2=390+b

770=390+b

therefore b=770-390

b=380

Question -

The Perimeter of a rectangle is 1540 cm. It's length is 390 cm. Find it's Breadth.

Solution -

Let's assume the breadth as x cm

According to Question,

Given :

Perimeter of rectangle = 1540 cm

2 (length + breadth) = 1540 cm

2(390 + x) = 1540

⇒ 390 + x = 1540 / 2

⇒ 390 + x = 770

⇒ x = 770 - 390

⇒ x = 380

Required Measurements -

Breadth = x = 380 cm

Hence, the breadth of the rectangle is 380cm
