perimeter of a rectangle is 28 cm if the lenght and breath of the rectangle is increased by 4 cm each,then the ratio of the breath and length becomes 5:6 . What is the area of the rectangle​

Answer:

Sides of the rectangle are in the ratio of 4:5

Let the length l=5x

and the breadth b=4x

Now, perimeter =2(l+b)=90cm

2(5x+4x)=90

2(9x)=90

18x=90

x=5

Therefore, Length l=5x=25cm

and the breadth b=4x=20cm
