Answer:

in down there is step step by explanation

hope it's helpful

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of rectangle=2*(length+breadth)

34=2*(length+5)

17=length+5

Length=17–5=12

In a rectangle , length,breadth and diagonal form right angled triangle with diagonal as hypotenuse and the sides containing right angle are length and breadth

From pythogorus theorem ,

Hypotenuse^2=side^2+side^2

Diagonal^2=length^2+breadth^2

Diagonal^2=12*12+5*5

Diagonal^2=144+25=169=13^2

Diagonal=13

Therefore the diagonal of given rectangle is 13cm.Notice that two diagonals of the rectangle are equal in length.Hence the length of other diagonal is also equal to 13cm

Perimeter = 34cm
Breadth. = 5 cm
Let length = l cm
Perimeter = 2*(l+b)
34 = 2*(l+5)
34/2 = l+5
17 = l+5
17- 5 = l
12 = l
So length is 12 cm
