or, 2(l+b) = 40

or, l+b =20

but, from question, l = 5b-4

so, 5b-4+b =20

or, 6b = 20+4 =24

or, b=4 m

Now, l = 5b-4

= 5×4-4

=20-4 = 16 m

Thus, l = 16 m and b = 4 m
