Answer:

2(l+b)=40

l-2b=2

So l=2b +2 ...(1)

So 2(2b+2+b)=40

2(3b+2)=40

3b+2=20

So b=6cm

And length l =14cm (from (1))

Hope it helps u dood.Step-by-step explanation:

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the breadth of the rectangle be xcm

Then it's length=x+5cm

Perimeter=2(length+breadth)

⇒70=2(x+(x+5))

⇒  70/2   =2x+5

⇒2x+5=35

⇒2x=35−5=30

⇒x=30/2=15cm

 Breadth=x=15cm and length=x+5=15+5=20cm
