Length of one side is 7x

Other side is 2x

2(7x+2x) = 54

18x= 54

x = 54/18

x = 3

7x = 7*3=21

2x = 2*3 = 6

we know, perimerter of rectangle =2(l+b)
54=2(7x+2x)
54=2*9x
54=18x
54/18=x
3=x
x=3
so,
length of rectangle =7x
7*3=21
and breadth of rectangle=2x
2*3=6
