Perimeter of a rectangle is 60 cm. The length is four times the width What are the length and the width of the rectangle?

Perimeter= 60cm

Width= x

Length= 4x

Perimeter= 2×(l+b)

60= 2×(4x+x)

60= 2×5x

60= 10x

x= 60/10

= 6cm

Length= 6×4

= 24cm

Therefore, width is 6cm and length is a 24cm.
