Perimeter of a rectangular field 50 m long and 30 m wide is equal to the perimeter of a square field. Find
the area of the square field.​

Answer:

perimeter of rectangular field= 2(l+b)

=2(50+30)

=2×80

=160m

given that perimeter of rectangular field is equal to the perimeter of a square field.

in square all sides are equal

and there are 4 sides

so , length of each side of square = 160/4

=40m

area =40×40

=1600m
