Given info : The perimeter of a rectangular field of 100 m length is similar to a square farm of 75 m side length.

To find : The width of a rectangular field will be ...

solution : a/c to question,

perimeter of square = perimeter of rectangle

⇒4 × side length = 2(length + width)

⇒4 × 75 m = 2(100 m + width)

⇒300 m = 200 m + 2 × width

⇒300 - 200 = 100 m = 2 × width

⇒width = 50 m

Therefore the width of rectangular field is 50m
