Let the width be a
Length = a+4

Perimeter = 86
=> 2(a+a+4) = 86
=> 2a+ 4 = 43
=> 2a = 39
=> a = 19.5 cm

Width = 19.5 cm
Length = 23.5 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

let the length is x

:the breath is x+4

2(x+x+4)=86

2,(2x+4)=86

2x+4=43

2x=43-4

2x=39

x=19.5

according to the question x+4

19.5+4=23.5
