Sol : Here volly ball court is rectangular shape then Given perimeter of rectangular = 2(l + b).= 177 Let l , b are length and width of vollyball court. Given that length is twice the width i.e   l = 2b ⇒ 2(2b +b ) = 177  ⇒ 6b = 177 ⇒ b = 29.5 ft l = 2b = 2x 29.5 = 59 ft .

Let width be x then length is 2x

Given perimeter of volleyball court = 177ft.

2(l+b)=177

2(2x+x)=177

2×3x=177

6x=177

x=177/6

x=29.5

hence width=29.5ft nd length=59

hope this will help u.....
