What is the Perimeter of regular polygon?

ANśWER-

Perimeter of regular polygon =

number of sides × length of one side.

If the regular polygon is Square then the formula will be - 4 × length of one side.

Equilateral triangle's Perimeter = 3 × length of sides.

  • Formula changes are depended upon number of sides.

Ex - There is one Square. Length of one side of that square is 4cm. Then what is the Perimeter of square?

Solñ - Given, Length of one side of square is 4cm.

Formula to be used,Perimeter= 4 × length of side.

Perimeter = 4 × 4

Perimeter = 16.

⇝Therefore, Perimeter of square is 16.

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that the perimeter of a regular polygon is calculated by the formula, Perimeter = (number of sides) × (length of one side). Thus, if the length of the side is increased, the value of the perimeter also increases.
