side of rhombus=perimeter/4
=46/4=11.5
area=b×h
=11.5×8=92 unit ^2

Kanha221: u are wrong
Kanha221: area of rhombus is = 1/2 * h * product of its diagonals
manoj159: it has two formulae =,b×h and1/2×d1×d2
Kanha221: b * h is only for parallelogram
manoj159: no it is also used fo rhombus
mysticd: Rhombus is also a parallelogram
manoj159: yes
mysticd: here in our problem , diagonals are not mentioned
Kanha221: but we can find them
manoj159: yes so i solve from this formula

Hi ,

Let the side of a Rhombus = a units

Permeter = 46

4a = 46

a = 46/4

a = 23/2 units

Area of the Rhombus = area of the

Parallelogram

= Base × height

= ( 23/2 ) × 8

= 23 × 4

= 92 square units.

I hope this helps you.
