Here is your answer Buddy,

Let,

L be the length of the arc of the sector,

Now, we know that,

\textbf{ L = Perimeter - 2radius }

So,
L = 25 - 2×8
= 25 - 16
= 9 cm.

\textbf{Now,}

Area of full circle of radius 8 cm is
= π r^{2}
= 8×8×π

\textbf{Again}

Circumference of the full circle = 2πr
= 2×π×8

\textbf{So,Area of sector will be }

\frac {π×8×8×9}{π×2×8}

=> 36 cm. ( by cancelling π and 8)

Hope this helps you.

HEY THERE!!!

Question:-

The perimeter of a sector of a circle of radius 8 cm is 25 m, what is the area of sector?

Method Of Solution:-

Let POQ be the given sector!!

Given:-

Radius (r) of circle =) 8 cm

Given:- Perimeter of sector POQ = 25 cm

Note: Perimeter = All sides adding

Now,

So, OP + OQ + Arc PQ = 25 cm

8 + 8 + Arc PQ = 25 cm

Arc PQ = 25 -16 cm

Arc PQ = 9 cm

According to the Question!!

 l = Arc length PQ = 9 cm

Therefore,

Area of sector POQ = 1/2 × r × l

=  8 x 9 / 2

= 72/ 2

= 36 cm²

Hence, Area of Sector = 36 cm²
