let x be the one side of rectangle

peri.of square=4×s
4×15=60cm
peri.of rectangle=2(l+b)
2(18+x)
As per given condition,

60=2(18+x)
60/2=18+x
30-18=x
so,x=12
therefore side of rectangle is 12 cm
