<b>Answer :-

Perimeter of square = Perimeter of rectangle

=> 4 × side = 2 ( l + b )

=> 4 × 15 = 2 ( l + 8 )

=> 60 = 2 ( l + 8 )

=> \dfrac{60}{2} = l + 8

=> 30 - 8 = l

=> 22 cm = length

=> Area of rectangle = L × b

=> 22 × 8

=> {176 \ cm}^{2}

So, the area of rectangle is {176 \ cm}^{2}.

Answer: 176 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Side of square = 15 cm

Perimeter of square= (Side)4

                                 = 15cm X 4

                                 = 60 cm

Now, Let the length of the Rectangle be = a cm

Perimeter of Rectangle= 2(L+B)

Given: Perimeter of Rectangle and Square is same

Therefore: 2(L + B)=60 cm

                = 2(a + 8)=60cm

                = 2a + 16 = 60 cm

                = 2a = 60 - 16

                = 2a = 44

              a= 44 divided by 2

Therefore the length of Rectangle = 22 cm

Area of Rectangle = LB

                               = 22 x 8

                   Therefore Area of Rectangle = 176 cm^2
