Given

perimeter of a square = 40 cm

4xside. = 40

side = 40/4 =10 cm

As per pythagorean in Triangle DAB

DB^2 = DA^2 + AB^2

DB^2 = (10)^2 + (10)^2

diagonal ^2 = 100 +100

= 200

diagonal. = 200 =102 cms
