Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Square:

Perimeter of Square = 96

Formula is perimeter of Square = 4 * Side

So 4 * Side = 96 => Side = 96/4 = 24m

Formula for Area of Square = Side * Side = 24 * 24 = 576 Sq.m.

Rectangle:

Let X be breadth of rectangle.

length of rectangle = 4X. (Length is 4 times breadth)

Formula for Area of rectangle = Length * Breadth = (4X) * (X).

//It is given Area of rectangle = Area of Square

4X² = 576

X² = 576/4 = 144

X = 12m. ( Breadth is 12m.)

Length of rectangle = 4 *X = 4 *12 = 48m.

Formula is perimeter of Rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth)

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(48+12) = 2*60

                                       = 120m
