Answer: 64cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter of square = 4xside

32=4x side

32/4= side

therefore, side = 8cm

Area of square = sidexside

                          = 8x8

                          = 64cm^2

Area of a square = side × side

Side of the square=?

To find side when perimeter is given=perimeter/4

=32/4

side =8cm

Now area=Side×side

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀=8cm×8cm

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀=64cm²

Make sure when you find the area you must know the side.

As , Area of square=Side×side.

Assume that if side is not mentioned but the perimeter is mentioned

You can easily find the sides of it by dividing the number by 4.

This is because a square has 4 sides and perimeter is conted by the sum of sides.

Hope it heloed u buddy..

Thank you.....
