Answer:-

About Perimeter:-

Perimeter is the word which describes total measurement of boundary of an object.

REQUIRED ANSWER:-

We know that,

Sum of perimeter = (1st side of ∆)+(2nd side of ∆)+(3rd side of ∆).

Given Data:-

Perimeter = 24 cm

1st side = 6 cm

2nd side = 8 cm

Let the measurement of the third side be = x

According to the Question:-

x + 6 + 8 = 24

=> x + 14 = 24

=> x = 24-14

=> x = 10

Therefore, the given triangle is a Scalene Triangle and the third side is 10 cms.

QUESTION :

Perimeter of a triangle is 24. One side is 6 cm and other side is 8 cm

ANSWER :

Perimeter of triangle = sum of all its side

1st side = 6 cm

2nd side = 8 cm

3rd side = x

Perimeter = 24 cm

According to the question,

24 cm = x + 6 cm + 8 cm

24 cm = x + 14 cm

24 cm - 14 cm = x

10 cm = x

x = 10 cm Answer
