let the third side be x
one side is x-7
another side is x+5
we know that perimeter of triangle is 49cm.
x+x-7+x+5=49
3x-2=49
3x=49+2
x=51/3
x=17
one side is 17cm
second side is x-7=17-7=10
third side is x+5=17+5=22.

let the third side=x
one side = x-7
another side=x+5
perimeter of a triangle =sum of all sides
                       49cm =x+x-7+x+5
                           49 =3x-2
                        49+2 =3x
                           47 =3x
                          47/3=x
                            17 =x
one side=17cm
second side=x-7
                 =17-7
                 =10cm
third side=x+5
             =17+5
             =22cm
