Let the first side of the triangle be = x .
So,
ATQ ,
2nd side will be = x - 7
3rd side will be = x + 5.
We know that perimeter of triangle is equal to the sum of all of the three sides & given that perimeter of the triangle is 49cm.
So,
x + (x - 7) + (x + 5) = 49cm.
⟹ x + x - 7 + x + 5 = 49cm
⟹3x - 2 = 49cm
⟹3x = 51
⟹x = 51/3
⟹x = 17cm.
So length of sides will be:-
x,x-7,x+5
=17cm,10cm,22cm
