perimeter of equilateral triangle = 3a
              36cm=3a

            a=12cm

herons formula=under root s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

s= half of perimeter

s=18
   under root 18(18-12)(18-12)(18-12)
=under root 18 x 6 x 6 x 6
=under root 3888
=62.35

Hey friend,
Here is your answer,
As given as perimeter of an equilateral triangle is 36.
So as we know equilateral triangle's property, it has all sides equal.
So, 3x = 36
x = 12
That means,
a,b and c = 12 cm (each)
Now,
2s = 36
s = 18
Area= √s (s-a) (s-b) (s-c)
= √18(18-12) (18-12) (18-12)
= √18 × 6 × 6 × 6
= √ 3888
= 62.358 sq cm
